Grünau im Almtal is the largest municipality of Austria with 2100 inhabitants. Haus Kesselboden is situated in a pasture in the center of the village with view on the church. All facility's (supermarket, butcher's shop, bakery, banks) for a  relaxing vacation are at walking distance. At the Kirchenwirt (Restaurant) you can eat at low costs and delicious or try the local Zirbengeist.  

Wintersports in Grünau: The neighbouring ski-area Kasberg offers possibilities for both  beginners and advanced course and is easy and quick attainable. The free skibus stops right up to the door, from the Kasberg you can ski to the house and right for the door starts a 30 kilometres long Langlaufloipe. 

Summervacation in Grünau: In the summer Grünau offers excellent and extensive possibilities for recreation and relaxation (walking, cycling, water-sport, tennis).
